Following the approval of the modified concept plan in February 2009, Frasers commenced submission of Project Applications (similar to Development Applications, or DAs) to the NSW Department of Planning. Project Applications seek approval for the individual buildings and construction works required to fulfil the development, and contain details of the architecture and design of individual buildings. Project Applications are exhibited to the public by the NSW Department of Planning, and can be viewed in full at www.planning.nsw.gov.au or http://majorprojects.planning.nsw.gov.au.

The full environmental assessment and associated technical studies for the modified concept plan have been lodged with the Department of Planning.

Balfour Street Park

This community park was designed by the City of Sydney and will be under construction by Frasers Property from September to late November 2009.

Preferred Project Report Modification to Concept Plan (October 2008)

This preferred project report has been prepared in response to issues raised during the exhibition of Frasers Broadway concept plan modification. This report includes a number of revisions to the concept plan modification, which have been made in response to public submissions and the Department of Planning’s assessment.

This report forms the basis for which development approval is now sought from the Minister for Planning.

The document consists of a main report, which provides an overview of the issues raised and the revisions to the concept plan modification. We suggest you read this first to orient yourself to the document.

Appendix B provides further detail on the comments made in the submissions and Frasers’ response. The remaining appendices provide technical detail on the revisions to the concept plan modification.
