Project Update, 30 October 2007

On 16 October 2007, Frasers Property submitted a project application to the Department of Planning for demolition of buildings approved for removal under the concept plan and recycling of site materials. This application is currently being assessed by the department as part of an adequacy test. When the department chooses to place the document on public exhibition, it will be made available on this website. There will then be a 30 day period for public submissions on the application. Following the exhibition period, Frasers will respond to public submissions and the department will assess and make a final determination on the project application.

The preliminary environmental assessment, which supports the demolition application, is available on the Important Documents page of this website.

Project Update, 17 September 2007

Frasers Property will be formally submitting a project application to the NSW Department of Planning for demolition of those buildings approved for removal as part of the concept plan.

The project application for demolition will be submitted in October 2007. Before the project application is submitted, the Director General will be issuing to us the requirements that need to be addressed in the environmental assessment report that will be submitted with the application.

We are currently preparing a full program of the proposed sequencing of subsequent project applications and will make this information available on this website.
